Christmas 2011

Another Christmas has come and gone, but this was was definitely one I'll never forget simply because it was so magical for Luke and Nolan. My dad, Bobby has always said that he loved the holiday just because he loved seeing mine, Jonathan's & Danielle's faces as we opened our presents from Santa. As a kid, I was always baffled that he never tore into his pile of gifts, but was content to just sit & watch us as we tore off the paper and begged him to put batteries into our new toys.


Now, it's perfectly understandable to me.



This is one happy boy. A set of drums is all that he could talk about for the entire month leading up to Christmas.



We told the boys that they could open the gifts under the tree because they were for them from Santa. Luke happily opened 80% of the presents then let loose on mine & Justin's pile as well. He sure does love unwrapping!






Tank opened his presents too, but only cared about the racoon.






The day was spent in our home with our families -- unwrapping gifts, eating food, listening to concerts from Luke & Nolan and spending quality time with the ones we love.
