Memorial Day Weekend Continued

Nolan woke up around 7:30 on Sunday morning and since we were all sharing a room, Justin, Luke & I had no choice but to wake up too. Every Sunday morning, we go to a flea market whenever we're in town. It's nothing special -- just a tradition started many, many years ago. While we were waiting for everyone else to wake up and get themselves ready, Grammie, Daddy, the boys and I went for a short walk in the woods.

Luke ran into the trees and never looked back. He was in his element -- definitely his momma's boy! My mom caught up to him and led the way.

I love that he carried a stick with him everywhere he went. He reminded me of Galdolf!

It wouldn't be a typical day without me swinging from tree vines.

Once we got back from the flea market, we spent the afternoon having fun together.

We took a ride down to the river so the girls could kayak. It was pretty hot at this point, so Tank cooled himself down by plopping himself in the river.

We spent about 10 minutes by the river. Luke & Nolan were having none of it because we made them wear a life jacket.

We went back to the house and Luke and Nolan played in the sprinkler for a bit while the rest of us relaxed.

Luke found a little friend sitting on the wood pile!

We stayed up pretty late that night talking by the fire and when we woke the next morning, it was time to leave. We made it back to the city pretty quickly and were surprised to find out that a 1.7 earthquake hit close to our house! This might be the norm for some people, but earthquakes don't happen in Philly very often!

It's been very hot since we returned home, so we have all been playing in our back yard with the water table and sprinkler.
